Dear Brethren,

Please find below a note of our march meetings / lodge functions, I
do hope that you will be able to attend.

Monday 4th March 2019 at 7pm

Regular Meeting, this evenings meeting will commence with the usual
business followed by the nomination and election of office Bearers for the year
2019 – 2020, this is also our Annual Past Masters Ceremony of Raising which will
be conferred by Bro Thomas Gair IPM and his team of Past Masters, we will also
be receiving deputations from Lodge St John Fisherrow no 112 and Lodge Thorntree
1038, please note the earlier tyle of 7PM

Monday 18th March 2019 at
7.30pm

Regular Meeting, this evenings meeting
will commence with the usual business including a Ballot for three Gentleman who
wish to join the Lodge, followed by the ceremony of
passing to be conferred upon two Brethren, conducted by the Master and his
Office Bearers

March

Visit and tour of Rosslyn Chapel on Saturday 9th
March this is being organised by our Senior Deacon Paul Gilhooley, there a few
spaces left if you would like to join the tour please contact Paul paul.g.gilhooley@me.com this will
start in the premises of Lodge Rosslyn St Clair 606 at 10am

The Lodge Annual Ball is being held on Friday 16th
March in our own premises and will start from 7pm, all office bearers are
encouraged to attend, priced at £20.00 per person tickets / reservations are
available from Kenneth Harris PM 07833102806.

April

Our biannual retired members and widows dinner is
being held on Sunday 14th April from 1pm, all retired members with their wifes /
partners are cordially invited to attend

Dear Brethren,

Please find below a note of our February and march meetings /
lodge functions, I do hope that you will be able to attend.

Monday 18th February 2019 at
7.30pm

Regular Meeting, the Master will be conducting a ceremony of
initiation for one gentleman, also on this evening we will be receiving a
deputation from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Midlothian headed by the
Provincial Grand Master Bro. Thomas Smith who will be presenting Bro . James
Pryde PM with the honorary grand rank of Almoner.

Monday 25th February 2019 at
7pm

We will be holding an enquiry committee for three gentleman
who wish to join our Lodge, this will be followed by our monthly General
committee meeting at around 7.30pm, this evening is also our nomination night
for office bearers for the year 2019 – 2020, (would all office bearers please
make every effort to attend, in addition if you or you know of any member who would
like to considered for an office please make this known to any office
bearer)

February

70’s / 80’s Disco party night on Saturday 23rd
February 2019 from 7.30pm till late, Bro Bryan Halliday our substitute Master is
organising this event which includes a quiz, raffle and light buffet tickets are
available at £8.00 ea from Bryan on 07985 170911 email – bryandecor@talktalk.net or from any
office bearer or myself.

March

The Lodge Annual Ball is being held on Friday 16th
March in our own premises and will start from 7pm, all office bearers are
encouraged to attend, regalia will be required for the Grand March, further
details will be intimated shortly.

April

a post and photo from Lodge Robert de Cunningham (no. 2023) Poitiers FRANCE, who use our ceremonial ritual taken on 2/1/2019 for their 1st Entered Apprentice degree. The ritual was excellent with no prompts. The ceremony was a little different from what we normally have but that’s the beauty of the Scottish style degrees.

Dear Brethren, first of all may I convey the compliments of
the season from our Master Bro. Peter C. McGow and wish you all an enjoyable,
rewarding and relaxing festive season, our upcoming meetings and events are as
follows.

The Children’s Party is on this Saturday
15th December starting at 1pm and concluding around 3pm

Monday 17th December Regular Meeting at
7.30pm

Our last meeting of 2018 will include the usual business and
a ballot for membership, after all the business has been concluded Bro James
Pryde Lodge Almoner and Past Master will deliver a presentation entitled
“Masonic Intrigue, a race to Grand Lodge”

The Christmas Dance and party

Is being held on Friday 21st December from 7.30pm
tickets for this event are available from James Pryde PM or myself by email /
text they are priced at £10.00 ea

Monday 21st January Regular Meeting at
7pm

Our first Regular meeting of 2019 sees us working our Annual
Mark Ceremony which will be conferred by the Lodge office bearers and myself
please note the earlier tyle of 7pm.

Reminders

Our annual test fees (membership fee) fell due for renewal on
30th November these can be paid at any meeting of the Lodge, payment
by post to myself or bank transfer (our bank details will be provided on
request)

2019 Deputation dates

The Master has been invited to head deputations to the
following Lodges during January, to which all Brethren are most welcome to
accompany the Master

Wednesday 16th January 2019

to Lodge Cochno No. 1304 in Duntocher Clydebank (29 Glasgow Road
Hardgate, Clydebank G81 5PJ) that evening we have been invited to confer the
fellow craft ceremony

Thursday 17th January 2019

to Lodge St Leonard No. 580, on this evening one of our
members Bro. Douglas Wood will receive honorary membership of the Lodge we will
also witness a fellow of craft ceremony.

Thursday 24th January 2019

to Lodge Liberton 1201 ceremony to be confirmed we will
received at around 7.30pm.

Dear Member & brother,

The November events and meetings calendar is as follows

Tuesday 13th November is our Annual Deputation to The Lodge of Edinburgh Mary’s chapel No 1, there will be no ceremony performed, The evening will take the form of a special commemorative service for the ending of WW1. There will be an address given by a member from Poppyscotland. The Lodge tyles at 7.30pm

Monday 19th November on this occasion we will be raising one Brother to his third degree, the Lodge tyles at 7.30pm

Monday 26th November at 7.00pm, our Annual Pie Night and festival of St andrew, at this meeting we will be delighted to receive deputations from Dalhousie Bonnyrigg 720 and The Lodge of Edinburgh Mary’s chapel No 1, this evenings we will be treated to a lecture in the Lodge Room at the close of he meeting we will retire to celebrate the festival of st Andrew and listen to an oration given about our patron saint, this is also the occasion that we present the winners of the various sports section competitions With their trophies

Tuesday 27th November at 7.30pm, our monthly management committee meeting within the lodge room, every office bearer is requested to attend.

Our close season is shortly coming to an end and we will be resuming our normal Monday Meeting nights to which the Master wholeheartedly extends a cordial invite to you and hopes you will be able to attend some if not all our forthcoming meetings, the Master has being promoting our Lodge during the close season the latest of these visits was to Lodge Garrowhill 1413 on this occasion he was accompanied by Bro Alan Carmichael and Bro. Samuel Mitchell Past Masters.

FORTHCOMING MEETINGS.

On Monday 24th September at 7.30pm we are holding our General Committee Meeting, the main topic will be the discussion and hopefully approval of our balance sheet and statement of accounts for the year end June 2018, all office bearers are requested to attend.

Monday 1st October at 7.30pm, our first regular meeting of the new season is our Annual General Meeting to which all members are requested to attend, we will be carrying out the normal business of the lodge and discussing our latest statement of accounts along with the Minutes of the various meetings from and including our installation in May.

Monday 15th October at 7.30pm, our first working meeting of the season sees one gentleman being initiated into our Lodge, please make every effort to attend this meeting to witness and support the start of another gentleman’s journey in freemasonry
